Donald Soffritti

Donald Soffritti (Ferrara – 1967) made his debut as a cartoonist in the Ferrara newspaper Il Resto del Carlino and then in 1993 in Sturmtruppen. He worked on the comic adventures of Prezzemolo, the dragon and mascot of Gardaland, before starting to collaborate with Disney in 1997 as an inker. In 1999 he switched to drawing with stories and covers for Topolino, Minni, Witch and Grandi Classici. In the meantime, he collaborated with Italian and foreign publishers, with cartoons, CD covers, books and posters. With the writer Giorgio Salati, he drew the cultural-technological strip Bookbugs, for Telecom Italia’s digital magazine PreTesti.
