Giovanni Eccher

Giovanni Eccher (Milan – 1976) graduated with a degree in Literature and then worked as a special effects technician for cinema and advertising, an activity he continued alongside his work as director, scriptwriter and game designer.

For over ten years he has been writing comics for Sergio Bonelli Editore, collaborating on titles such as Nathan Never, Dylan Dog, Dampyr, and Tex. He is one of the historical founders of the Bravo Ma Basta Film Festival, a festival dedicated to amateur and camp films. In 2020 he published the novel La Terra degli Incubi (The land of nightmares) for Mondadori, and in 2022 Il segno dell’Ordine (The sign of the Order).
